Intensive Outpatient Program “IOP”

The Floyd County Community Corrections Intensive Outpatient Program is designed to target nonviolent offenders who have been identified as a high risk for re-offending according to the Indiana Risk Assessment. The Intensive Outpatient Program is a program for those in the criminal justice system seeking recovery from substance abuse disorders.

Intensive Outpatient Program Overview:

  • Participants will be assessed to determine risk level.
  • Participants will be required to submit to drug screens.
  • Participants must agree to the rules and terms of the program.
  • Group will meet three times a week for eight weeks.
  • Each group session will meet for three hours.
  • Each block of time is broken into three separate formats which include an active engagement class, creative recovery group and an interactive integration class.
  • It is an open-ended intervention program that allows continuous intake.
  • It is administered in a group setting.
