Community Work Crew Program

The Floyd County Community Work Crew Program allows probationers to be supervised by Community Corrections staff at various community work sites. Numerous non-profit and governmental agencies use the work crew for various tasks or projects, allowing clients to pay back to the community. The work crew program is targeted towards adults who are ordered through the courts as a term of probation, direct commit, diversion or probation violation to perform a specified amount of community service hours. This program can be used as a graduated sanction.
